The warm summer months are gone. Shorts and flip-flops have been replaced with cozy, chunky sweaters and boots. Pumpkin spice flavored everything is everywhere. The leaves have started to change from green to bursts of red, orange and yellow. Autumn is officially in full swing!
Even though Chicago has it's own display of fall foliage, it's even better further north across the border into Wisconsin. One town in particular is quite the show off. A quaint small town located just eighty miles from Chicago, Lake Geneva feels like a world away from the city. Although it is a well known summer destination, it is an equally desirable getaway destination in the autumn. The tourists have dwindled. The lake is empty of boaters, kayakers and water skiers. All of this makes it the perfect time to take in all of which autumn offers.
