On our two week overland trip in Tanzania, we covered quite a large distance. We started north along the border with Kenya all the way southeast to the city of Dar Es Salaam. Along the way, we were fortunate enough to visit a few villages, some small enough to be just a quick blip along our route to larger ones, full of hustle and bustle.
The local people we met along the way were always kind, helpful and welcoming. They invited us into their homes and fed us an abundance of warm delicious meals. They taught us about their culture and their way of life. They lead us to secret spots in order to get the best views. Without them, this trip wouldn't have been as memorable as it was.
